When severe weather strikes, SERVPRO of Northeast Greenville County wants you to be prepared!

Emergency management services suggest having at least 3 days worth of supplies! The following is the standard list of what items you should have in an emergency kit. 

• Water – 1 gallon per person per day
• Food – non-perishable
• Manual can opener
• Battery operated radio, preferably a weather radio
• Flashlight
• Extra batteries for radio and flashlight
• First Aid kit
• Whistle to signal help
• Clothing, blankets
• Dust mask or bandannas
• Plastic sheeting, garbage bags, and duct tape
• Wrench or other tools to shut off utilities
• Hygiene items
• Important documents. (Copy of insurance policy, bank account info, identification, etc.)
• Fire extinguisher
• Matches in waterproof case
• Cash

Being prepared for the possibility of severe weather means your family needs an emergency plan! Be sure to have a common meeting place in case you are not in the same place when the event occurs! Stay safe!

Hurricane Irma

With Hurricane season upon us its always important to be prepared for the "when it happens" not the "what if". It is inevitable that if you live along the cost or within a few hundred miles of it you will ultimately meet one of natures most forceful powers. With thousands of articles written every year in regards to hurricanes what new information can we learn?

Replaced Floor Joists

SERVPRO of NE Greenville County is much more than a restoration company. We are a repair company too. Did you know that many insurance carriers prefer having one company do it all? We recently restored several old floor joists for a gentleman who had a water damage. When we removed the wet flooring we found termite damage that had affected the structure. Its always nice when as client asks if we can "do that". When the answer is yes its always sweet.
